I'm actually getting this posted a whole hour before the 'deadline' (what time zone??)  My daughter Leslie, and grandsons Cole and Colin were in town from California and as such, the photo project was almost put on the back burner...  but then decided to use Colin for the subject matter of many of Joanne's mix - i.e, ground level, bubbles, & black n white. 

 

for #1 however, this is a shot from our recent sailing trip up in the Pacific Northwest.  It's the dock's at Buchart Gardens.  For those of you that might have been here, bet you didn't know you could go by boat! 

 and for #2 - a night shot of a street in Frankfort Germany on a recent stop with 'AA'....

#8.... as for 'newspapers...,  I was going to try to take shots of Colin on the crapper reading a newspaper when he told me he couldn't hold the paper without falling in......

had to change plans to a couple pics of some iconic newspapers I've saved over the years....  I actually had the opportunity to fly as part of the search and rescue mission when Mt. St. Helens blew her top on May 18th, 1980.  I was stationed at McChord AFB flying C130's....  one of those memories that one would never forget...
