folks..., I actually did a post for the 'framed' exercise - was only about 3 weeks late (but did have a good excuse as we were in Europe on a really cool ski trip... so if you're really bored, take a look....
and for this one, this was a challenging theme... are there actually interesting mailboxes out there to photograph!! as always, you'll find things in your immediate existence you've never paid attention to before! This first shot is of someone in the neighborhood.... now, my first name is 'Rex' - not sure what his is. My question for him however..., is this '3409'???

ReplyDeleteGood stuff. The log and stonework is obviously the most unique I've seen. It is also well composed. Actually the rest were one of a kind except #1.
I liked the shabby chic one at the end the best because of the blurred background, the leafy branch, color and lighting of the box and old rotten post plus the composition of everything. It looks like if you open the door it would fall apart.
Rex....I obviously have much to learn about composition. You are excellent at it! My fave of these is the blue chain "post" and odd shaped "box". Nice!
